Title
Ordinance 2014-19-33, appropriating supplemental funding of $1,000 for the replacement of the quick dump feature on Tanker 1 for Anchor Point Fire and Emergency Medical Service Area
Body
Ordinance 2014-19-26 appropriated $30,000 for the replacement of the water tank and pump on Tanker 1 for the Anchor Point Fire and Emergency Medical Service Area.

When the quote was received for replacing the tank, the quick dump feature was shown on the tank but the cost was not included in the quote.  This is an integral part of the tank and should be included as part of the install.  Chief Dycus has contacted the company who is replacing the old tank with the new tank, who has agreed to install the quick dump feature from the old tank to the new tank for $448.

The Service Area is requesting that an additional $1,000 be appropriated from its capital project fund balance for this cost and to cover any additional unforeseen cost that might occur.

The administration requests that the assembly add this to the agenda for today's assembly meeting so that the project can be completed much more quickly than if we wait until the November 25, 2014 meeting to introduce this ordinance.
